Patient Participation and Involvement

What is our Patient Participation Group?

The Patient Participation Group is an initiative setup to involve our patients with the day to day running of the practice from a patient perspective. The patients are invited to meet on a quarterly basis to offer their concerns, views and suggestions. The doctors and staff at Aughton Surgery recognize the importance of open discussion with registered patients in order to evaluate and improve the services offered at the practice.

How can I offer suggestions?

Any items / suggestions that you feel need to be discussed / addressed at any future meetings should be sent in writing c/o the surgery for the attention of the Patient Participation Group, or via email to “”. These will then be passed on to be included in future agendas. Please note ‘personal’ issues can not be dealt with by the group.

Opportunities to get involved

From time to time, NHS England will ask for patient opinion on different matters. See below for any upcoming opportunities and events.
