Flu Vaccination Clinics 2024

We are currently in the process of booking our flu vaccination clinics for 2024, at present, clinic dates are:

Saturday 5th October: 9am – 12pm and 1pm – 4pm (Eligible Adults Aged 18+ Only)

Saturday 19th October: 9am – 12pm and 1pm – 4pm (Eligible Adults Aged 18+ Only)

Separate clinic dates will be arranged for the administration of children’s nasal flu vaccines.

Flu vaccines are being administered at the practice to the below groups of eligible patients:

– Anyone aged 65+

– Anyone aged 18 – 64 in a clinical risk group

– Children who were aged 2 or 3 years old on 31st August 2024

– All children in clinical risk groups (6 months old to less than 18 years old)

– Pregnant women

– Carers

– Close contacts of immunosuppressed patients

If you fall in to one of the eligible groups listed above, and haven’t yet arranged an appointment for your vaccine, please contact reception who will be able to book you in.

Invites are still being sent over the next few days, so if you are eligible you should receive a text from the practice which will contain an online booking link.

If you would like to decline your flu vaccination, we would be grateful if you could inform the practice. This can be done by following the link contained within your invite text message, or alternatively you can speak to a member of our reception team. Declining your vaccine if you don’t wish to have it will stop any further invitation messages for this year.
