Flu Clinic Information
To help our flu clinic run as quickly and efficiently as possible, we would please ask that you read the below information:
Car Park
Due to the high volume of patients attending clinic, and the quick turnaround that will be expected, the car park will NOT be open as it would cause too much congestion.
We are aiming for you to be in the building for a matter of minutes, and therefore it is not practical to have that many cars flowing in and out.
We would suggest walking to the surgery if you live in the nearby vicinity, or finding alternative car parking in the immediate area if you are planning to drive.
Short Sleeved Clothing
To help the clinic run quickly, we would be grateful if you could wear SHORT SLEEVED CLOTHING underneath any coats or jackets, and if possible, please avoid wearing jumpers or long sleeved shirts that take a longer amount of time to remove.
When arriving at the surgery, you will be checked in by a member of admin staff and asked to have the top of your arm ready so the clinician can quickly and easily administer the vaccination. It would help if you could remove any coats or jackets as you are arriving at the surgery.
Appointment Times
Each patient has an allocated appointment slot of 1 minute, therefore it is NOT going to be possible for you to discuss anything else with the clinician administering your vaccine, other than any questions about the vaccination itself.
We will not be able to discuss appointments, test results or prescriptions during the flu clinic as staff will simply not have the time.
Similarly, we will not have the time to administer any other vaccinations such as Pneumonia, RSV or COVID – The appointment will be for a flu vaccination only.
Entry/Exit
We will be running a one way system through the building, so please enter through the front door and exit through the back door.
Thank you for your co-operation with the above, and we look forward to seeing you at your appointment.
