Travel Vaccinations

We have noticed an increase in the number of patients who are looking to have travel vaccinations at the practice, but who are trying to book appointments for administration only a few weeks before their travel date.

If you are travelling abroad and would like to discuss travel advice and vaccination options, please book an initial telephone consultation appointment with our Practice Nurse at least 12 weeks before your travel date.

This will enable Lynne to go through all of the relevant advice, and determine which vaccinations are required, and will also allow enough time between the telephone call and your travel date to enable a face to face appointment to be booked for the vaccinations to be administered where indicated.

We must stress that if you try to book an appointment outside of these time frames, we cannot guarantee that we would be able to accommodate an appointment before you travel.
