Minor Surgery Clinics

We are pleased to announce that as of November 2025, we will be starting to offer minor surgery clinics at the practice for our registered patients only. We will not be taking referrals from any other practices for this service.

The clinics will be run by Dr K Shrivastava, and will involve incisions and excisions of benign skin lesions where clinically appropriate (excluding lesions on the Head/Neck and Hands or Feet).

At present, we plan to run 1x clinic per month on a Monday afternoon, with our first clinic planned and booked for Monday 3rd November.

In order to be booked in to our minor surgery clinic, you will first need to have a routine appointment with any of the GPs. If they feel that your skin lesion is suitable for minor surgery, you will then be contacted by us separately to be booked in to the next available clinic. If the GP feels that you need onward referral to a secondary care service rather than be seen in our clinic, this will be arranged.

Patients will not be permitted to book directly in to the minor surgery clinic unless they have seen a GP for assessment first.

We are hopeful that by introducing this service, we can reduce the amount of time that patients might expect to wait for minor surgical procedures if they were otherwise being referred elsewhere.
