Disabled Access to Surgery Premises and Car Park
Please note that as of Monday 3rd November 2025 the door at the rear of the surgery building will be for disabled access ONLY.
All other patients and visitors will need to enter and exit the building using the front entrance.
The rear door will be locked via an electronic access panel, and there will be a doorbell which can be pressed to request a member of staff to come and open the door where disabled access is required.
We would also like to take this opportunity to remind patients that our disabled parking bays are for disabled patients and those with blue badges ONLY. Please do not use disabled bays just because they are the only free parking slot in the car park.
We must also remind patients and visitors to the practice that the space in front of the disabled ramp (i.e. non-marked space between the first disabled bay and the wall towards the driveway) is NOT a parking space. We have found that patients have been parking in this area, and it makes it more difficult for vehicles to enter/exit.
We appreciate that our car parking space is limited, however, there is very little that we can do about this. The car park no longer has a ‘staff only’ section, so we have tried to increase the number of available spaces, but we are sure that you can appreciate that in any case; space is limited.
There is alternative parking available on the road at the front of the surgery, and in the surrounding vicinity roads.
We would like to thank you for your co-operation on this matter.
