If you would like to make a formal complaint, please put this in writing via email and send to [email protected]
The email will automatically be forwarded to the Practice Manager who will respond in due course.
No other members of staff have access to the above email address other than the Practice Manager.
Non-urgent advice: Extended Access & Out of Hours
West Lancashire now has an Extended Access service running 7 days a week from 18:30 -20:00 Monday – Friday, 10:00 – 14:00 on Saturdays and 10:00 – 13:00 on Sundays. You can book one of these appointments by contacting reception. We have the availability to book appointments with a GP, ANP, PN, HCA and a Phlebotomist.
The service runs from various locations on weeknights and from 3 hubs in West Lancs on the weekend:
Burscough Health Centre
Ormskirk Medical Practice
Sandy Lane Health Centre
The service offers pre-bookable and same -day primary care appointments with a range of clinicians including GPs, Nurses and Health Care Assistants. Appointments are available to all patients that are registered in West Lancs and can be booked by contacting reception. Please call the surgery on 01695 317350 to book one of these appointments if required.
Please be aware that this is not a walk-in service – you must have an appointment

Local GP’s are available evenings/weekend, seven days a week, 365 days-a-year. To book an appointment, call your GP practice or visit www.nhs.uk/GPaccess.
You can still speak to a GP even after your practice has closed by using the GP out-of-hours service. To access this service, simply call NHS111 or visit www.111.nhs.uk.
