Online Consultation System

We are very pleased to announce that starting on Monday 7th November, we will be commencing our use of the AccuRx Online Consultation system.

This will allow patients to submit routine, non-urgent medical queries as well as administrative requests (such as sick note requests, test result requests and medication queries) online. Requests will be reviewed by an appropriate member of the team and will be actioned within 2 working days.

Online consultations will be available for submission between 12pm and 6pm Monday – Friday.

This system should NOT be used for any urgent requests or medical problems. We are still operating our original appointment system in addition to our online consultations, so you will still be able to call at 8am each weekday morning for an on the day appointment if you have an urgent acute problem.

The system should also not be used for routine repeat prescription request ordering. This should be done online where possible using any of the online services apps (myGP, NHS App, Patient Access etc.) or you can call our prescription ordering phone line between 8:30am and 11:30am Monday – Thursday.

We hope that this system will improve access, and reduce waiting times on our phone system.
