Call Queueing System
As was mentioned on previous news posts, we have been working to try and improve our phone system. We are pleased to announce that from Wednesday 20th October, we will be adding call queueing to our telephony.
This will allow callers to join a queue when waiting to speak to our reception team, rather than hearing the engaged tone when all the phones are in use. We hope that this will prove less frustrating for patients when trying to get through to us.
We would also like to take this opportunity to re-emphasise that we will not tolerate verbal abuse towards any member of our team. The practice has seen a significant increase of verbally aggressive behaviour recently, and this is wholly unacceptable.
Primary care in general is seeing a huge increase in demand for services, and we are now dealing with more patient requests and offering more appointments than ever before. The practice has a zero tolerance policy on abusive behaviour towards staff, and we reserve the right to remove patients from our practice list without warning if any patient exhibits unacceptable behaviour.
Thank you for your patience and co-operation with us.
