Phone System Update

Back in August, we posted an update to advise that we were aware our telephone system was causing a great deal of frustration for patients, and we were looking in to some solutions.

We are pleased to confirm that after several discussions with our IT team, we are going to be implementing a call queuing system which will allow patients to join a queue to speak to reception, rather than hearing an engaged tone when the lines are busy. Work is expected to be completed on this by the end of October.

The system should hopefully avoid patients having to redial several times to get through to us, and will give regular updates informing of the position in the queue whilst patients are on hold waiting to speak to the reception team.

We would like to thank you for your patience with the current system, and we hope the new improvements, when they are implemented, will be useful.
